There is creative reading as well as creative writing.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
A good book can be a friend forever. I think someone else must have said that first, but I’m not sure who. Oh how I love reading a good book. Oh how I love sharing about what I’m reading with others. After three years in graduate school with very little time dedicated to reading for pleasure, I’m diving into pleasure reading full force.
I want book reviews to be a part of this blog, but while I am a voracious reader I’m not the fastest, especially when I’m reading for pleasure. Reading quickly is a skill I use only when pressed by an academic deadline. So I won’t promise a review a week, but as I read I’m excited to share with you what I think. This page will be where these specific blog entries will be linked for archival purposes.
